
Scott brings a love of architecture and the natural landscape to his role as a board member of Chikaming Open Lands. From his lengthy experience in real estate brokerage management he understands the importance – and value – of a considered and respectful relationship between the manmade and natural environments, and regards preservation as key to the success of any such integration. He holds an undergraduate degree in history from Stanford, a master of architecture from Rice, and an MBA from MIT. He is co-author of two architectural books, Kentucky Houses of Stratton Hammon and Country Houses of Louisville, 1899-1939. Scott previously served on a number of non-profit boards, and is presently a director of Sypris Solutions Inc. He resides in Chicago and St. Joseph.
