Frequently Asked Questions:
What is the cost to attend?
-We are excited to bring the kayaking portion of this program to the community free of charge! Participants will be responsible for covering their vehicle parking fees at the City Boat Launch and their bills at Ghost Isle Brewery.
Can I bring my own kayak?
-Yes. Participants may bring their own paddling equipment (kayak, canoe, paddleboard, etc.). Motorized watercrafts are not permitted for this program. There is a spot on the registration form to indicate that you are bringing your own equipment.
When should I arrive?
-Please arrive promptly at 1:30pm. Before departing, all participants must fill out waivers, get gear, and listen to our short safety talk. The sooner we're all ready to go, the sooner we can hit the water!
How long will we be kayaking?
-We will kayak from 2pm until approximately 3:30pm. We will head to Ghost Isle Brewery immediately after kayaking and stay until about 5pm.
