Stewardship Day

November 12, 2022 from 10:00am to Noon

Join COL for a volunteer stewardship day on Saturday, November 12 from 10:00 am to noon EST. Stewardship days are all about getting outside, working hard on a COL preserve, and having fun! Can't make the last stewardship day of the season? No problem! Join us next year! We have them on the second Saturday of each month in March - November from 10:00 am to noon EST. The preserve and work change each month and can include invasive species removal, trail maintenance, native plantings, and much more!  

The November stewardship day will be at Edward and Elizabeth Leonard Wildlife Preserve. Help us take care of the preserve by controlling the invasive shrubs that are impacting our important native species.

Everyone is welcome! Reservations are not needed but it would be nice to know you are coming to know the proper number of supplies. Please contact COL Stewardship Coordinator, Dan Engel, at dengel@chikamingopenlands.org to let us know you are coming!
