Maple Syrup Tapping-FULL

Take advantage of a wonderful opportunity to explore the process of turning sap from sugar maple trees into maple syrup. Join Dan Dale of Covenant Farm, one of Chikaming Open Lands' protected properties, to learn all about extracting sap and visit the farm's "sugar shack" to see how it's boiled down to make a deliciously sweet maple syrup.

Date is subject to change. This program is based on weather and the exact date will be set closer to when we know the weather conditions. Please plan on either the last Saturday in February or the first Saturday in March.

Two program times available! This has become a very popular program so we are offering a morning tour of the farm starting at 11:00 am EST and an afternoon program tour group at 2:00 pm EST. Contact COL with first choice of time, it is on a first come first serve basis.
