Chikaming Open Lands owns and manages several nature preserves. Most of these preserves are Open-Access Preserves, while a few are Limited-Access Preserves. No matter which preserve you choose to visit, please be sure to follow our preserve rules.

Each property is unique and offers diverse habitats that make Southwest Michigan so special. Our preserves have a wide variety of activities for everyone to enjoy, including miles of hiking trails, birding opportunities, spectacular spring wildflower viewing, and more.
